In place of our usual Woo Hoo Wednesday video I invite you to watch this heartwarming video clip created by your children. We are studying author's purpose and the power of word choice as it leads to reader's inferencing. Their task was to complete the sentence "LCHS says thanks (for)..." With only ONE WORD or short phrase. You would be surprised how challenging this is! They then had to think of an appropriate backdrop for their word card to create this video. Check out their creativity - and grab a tissue. I can't get past slide four!
